President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Sunday that a document outlining U.S. security guarantees for Ukraine is “100% ready” following two days of discussions involving Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia.

Speaking to journalists in Vilnius during his visit to Lithuania, Zelenskyy said Ukraine is now waiting for its partners to set a date for signing. Once completed, the document will be submitted for ratification to both the U.S. Congress and the Ukrainian parliament.

Zelenskyy also reiterated Ukraine’s ambition to join the European Union by 2027, describing membership as an “economic security guarantee.”

He described the talks in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, as the first trilateral format in “quite a long while” to include not only diplomats but also military representatives from all three sides.

The discussions, held Friday and Saturday, represent the latest efforts to bring an end to Russia’s nearly four-year full-scale invasion.

Zelenskyy acknowledged the wide gaps between Ukraine and Russia, stressing that territorial issues remain a key point of dispute. “Our stance on the integrity of Ukraine’s territory must be honored,” he said.
