President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that discussions involving Russia and the United States aimed at halting Ukraine's war will take place in the United Arab Emirates.

This announcement follows a conversation he had with President Donald Trump in Davos.

As diplomatic efforts intensify, Trump has remarked that the meeting he held with Zelensky was quite productive.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Special Envoy, Steve Witkoff, has traveled to Moscow to engage in discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Son in law Jared Kushner has stated that the discussions surrounding the agreement with Witkoff regarding their travels to Moscow indicate that they are hopeful about the outcome.

"As we approach a particular issue, we have engaged in repeated discussions about it. This implies that it is a matter that can potentially be resolved," he explained prior to their departure from Switzerland.

Although the Trump administration has not provided any detailed information regarding the issue at hand, Zelensky has clearly articulated that the unresolved matter concerning Eastern Ukraine remains a significant concern.

The discussion held at Emirates has highlighted the involvement of Russia, as well as the United States and Ukraine.

It has been stated that "Ukraine should not be the only focus; it is essential to recognize that Russia also has significant matters to address, and one must be prepared for this reality."

"The primary issue at hand is land. This is the matter that remains unresolved to this day," stated Zelensky during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, while addressing the gathered journalists.
