President Xi Jinping said China's advance was unstoppable during a military parade in which he unveiled new advanced weapons, including giant underwater drones.

"The country will not be intimidated by bullies," Xi said on Victory Day, marking the 80th anniversary of China's victory over Japan in World War II.

This grand military celebration was attended by 26 leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

At this military show, where the three leaders met for the first time, China unveiled new weapons, including laser weapons and nuclear ballistic missiles.

President Xi said on this day that the Chinese people "made great national sacrifices" to save human civilization.

"History teaches us that the fate of mankind is intertwined, and that its rise and fall are intertwined," he said.

"China will not be intimidated by any bully; it will always move forward," he said, announcing his country's stance.
