Werabe University has opened a new student exchange route through a partnership with Sapienza University of Rome, expanding opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students to pursue academic studies abroad with recognised credits.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Ing. Towfik Jemal, President of Werabe University, and Prof. Antonella Polimeni, Rector of Sapienza University of Rome. It establishes a framework for reciprocal student exchange between the two universities, allowing students from both institutions to study at the partner university.

Under the agreement, students participating in the exchange programme will receive academic recognition and credit transfers through the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), enabling coursework completed at the partner institution to contribute towards their degree programmes.

The partnership is expected to strengthen academic cooperation between the two universities by promoting student mobility, knowledge sharing and intercultural engagement. It will provide students with exposure to different academic systems and learning environments while supporting the development of international skills.

The agreement forms part of Werabe University's efforts to expand its global academic partnerships and increase international opportunities for its students. The university said the collaboration supports its goal of preparing graduates with the academic capabilities and international experience required in an increasingly connected global economy.
