A recently released video provides additional insight into the events leading up to the fatal shooting of a woman by a federal immigration officer during an enforcement operation in Minneapolis.

This footage contributes to the ongoing national discussion regarding whether the officer's actions were justified as self-defense or if they were reckless.

The video, lasting 3 and half minutes, was recorded by a bystander and shared on Sunday by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security via X.

It depicts federal officers and their vehicles on a snowy street, accompanied by the intermittent blaring of a car horn, with whistles further adding to the noise. As the camera pans to the left, it reveals a red SUV positioned perpendicularly, obstructing part of the roadway, with the woman inside, Renee Good, repeatedly pressing the horn.

After more than a minute, Good slightly reversed the SUV, clearing part of the road and seemingly gesturing for cars to proceed. Two vehicles then pass her on the street.

Good’s wife is seen outside the red SUV, but the video doesn’t clearly show where she was in the proceeding minutes.

Then, after a blare from sirens, a dark truck with a small flashing light pulls to a stop a few feet from Good’s SUV. Two officers exit the truck and walk toward Good’s car just before the video goes dark.
