US Vice President J.D. Vance said that if Hamas does not cooperate in disarming, "the noise will die down."

J.D. Vance said that the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement is going "better than expected" and that the agreement will remain in place.

During his visit to Israel, Vance warned that the militant group would "lose its voice if Hamas does not cooperate," referring to the disarmament proposal proposed by the United States and not yet agreed upon.

US President Donald Trump, for his part, warned that America's major allies in the Middle East are ready to "go into Gaza with great force, to correct Hamas" if it continues to behave inappropriately.

Vance traveled to Israel on Sunday as fighting between Hamas and the Israeli army escalated, threatening a 12-day ceasefire.

Several Palestinians were killed in an airstrike carried out by Israel, which Hamas said killed two of its soldiers.
