Two Americans have declined to comment on the killing of top Trump officials by immigration agents.

Top administration officials have defended the president's immigration agenda when questioned by Congress.

Officials, who have faced tough questions from congressional lawmakers, said that opposition activists are inciting violent protests against the agents and that the agencies are not holding back from taking action.

"I have a message for anyone who thinks they can intimidate us. You will not succeed," said Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Commissioner Todd Lyons.

The officials were called to testify before Congress after ICE officers killed two Americans.

The killings of Americans Alex Prety and Rene Goode by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Minneapolis sparked public outrage.

Customs and Border Protection Commissioners Lyons and Rodman Scott were asked whether they would be involved in future polling places across the United States, beyond the ongoing efforts in Minneapolis.

Much of the questioning focused on the new policy requiring ICE officers to wear body cameras.
