Recently, while preparing to travel to Beijing, the United Kingdom's Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, indicated that in the context of relations with either the United States or China, it is important to "choose one of the two" without being constrained.

The Prime Minister stated that the United Kingdom maintains a "close relationship" with the United States in the areas of trade, security, and defense, which he aims to uphold. However, he also remarked, "It is not a matter of simply saying that you can ignore China... that would not be a realistic sentiment."

In an interview with Bloomberg News, Starmer elaborated that the visit to China, which is considered the world's second-largest economy, could provide "significant opportunities" for British companies.

Numerous business leaders from the United Kingdom are expected to collaborate together, as it is anticipated.

The Prime Minister is set to undertake this visit, which is part of a broader initiative by their country to establish a new expansive Chinese embassy in London, following the recent approval of a comprehensive construction plan.

For an extended period, this decision has been under consideration, and it is suggested that the embassy, which will be built by Chinese contractors, will serve as a central hub for Chinese diplomacy, as warnings are being issued regarding the circumstances surrounding this development.

"Often, I find it easy to choose among countries. Please do not disregard this," stated the Prime Minister.
