The United Arab Emirates has denied allegations that it provides various types of support to the Sudanese Rapid Support Force (RSF).

The Emirates has denied allegations that it provides financial support and supplies weapons and military equipment to the Sudanese Rapid Support Force.

A Reuter’s investigation found that the Emirates was providing military training and equipment to the Rapid Response Force.

Following this, the UAE denied in its response to the BBC that it had "provided no weapons, ammunition, drones, vehicles, precision-guided munitions or other military equipment, directly or indirectly, to the RSF."

In this statement, the UAE stated that it is not a party to the conflict in Sudan and will not participate in the conflict.

The statement added that "the UAE completely rejects these allegations, which are baseless and do not reflect the facts on the ground or the UAE's long-standing and clear position."

The Sudanese civil war began in April 2023, following a power struggle between the country's army and its rapid-fire forces.
