On Tuesday, while traveling through Pennsylvania, President Donald Trump sought to highlight his commitment to addressing inflation; however, the matter that has adversely affected his popularity seemed to divert his complete focus.

During his address to the audience assembled at a casino and resort in Mount Pocono, the president asserted that inflation was no longer an issue and claimed that Democrats had manipulated the term "affordability" as a "hoax" to tarnish his image.

Nevertheless, his comments meandered significantly, revisiting grievances he initially expressed privately during his first term in 2018 which he later denied making questioning why the United States does not accept more immigrants from Scandinavian countries.

"Why is it that we only accept individuals from s—-hole nations, right?" Trump remarked on stage.

"Why can’t we have some individuals from Norway, Sweden, just a few?" Trump expressed his disapproval of accepting immigrants from "hellholes like Afghanistan, Haiti, Somalia, and numerous other nations."

He further emphasized that those regions "are a disaster, right? Filthy, dirty, disgusting, plagued by crime."
