President Donald Trump has told Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that nuclear talks with Iran will continue.

But Trump warned that action would be taken if Iran did not reach an agreement.

Trump reportedly wants Netanyahu to pressure Iran to stop enriching uranium, dismantle its ballistic missile program, and stop supporting militant groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.

Iran has said it is ready to limit its nuclear program. In return, it has demanded the lifting of sanctions.

Iran has said it will not accept any other conditions.

Ahead of Trump and Netanyahu's meeting, Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga said his country would "not accept any excessive demands" in the second round of talks with the United States.

The president also criticized the US's conditions.

This is Netanyahu's sixth official visit to Washington since Trump took office, the most by any leader to the United States.

The leaders met for about three hours before Trump gave a press conference. He said the meeting was "very good" on his Twitter account.

"We have not reached any decision. I have emphasized that negotiations with Iran must continue," he added
