Trump Says Netanyahu Ordered the Attack on Qatar

US President Donald Trump said that the decision for Israel to attack Qatar was entirely made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, emphasizing that his administration did not have enough time to prevent the attack.

In Trump's statement on his Truth social account; Israel condemned the attack on a delegation of Hamas negotiators in Qatar.

He said that when Qatar is a sovereign country and a close friend of the United States and is working hard and courageously to create peace with us, dropping bombs without warning will not serve the purpose of Israel or the United States.

Trump, who pointed out that his administration had been contacted by the US military shortly before the attack. They said they had ordered their special envoy, Steve Witkoff, to inform the Qataris of the impending attack, saying that unfortunately it was too late to stop it.

A spokesman for Qatar's foreign ministry said claims that the government had prior information about the attack were completely false.
