The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has informed NATO members about the discussions regarding the Greenland issue and reminded them of the tariffs imposed on European countries.

Trump, while engaging with social media, has acknowledged the discussions labeled as "very expensive" by NATO, although he has refrained from providing detailed information.

In recent weeks, as NATO's commitment has been questioned, Trump has clarified that the discussions regarding future agreements will be based on the "framework" that has been established.

The American leader, during his remarks at the global wealth forum, emphasized that Greenland has no alternative to being "controlled," asserting that military power would not be utilized in this context.

The agreement reached by European nations does not specify how Greenland would be treated as American property, leaving much to be clarified.

In their social media posts, the Trump administration stated, "We have prepared a framework for future agreements regarding Greenland and Arctic matters."

This agreement, if implemented, will be significant for the United States and NATO countries. According to sources from the US BBC affiliate, the CBS report indicates that the issue concerning the fully autonomous island, which is part of Denmark, has not been resolved through the agreement.
