In West Tigray, government soldiers are involved in the killing and kidnapping of displaced people who have returned to their homes, the TPLF has announced

“Ethiopian government soldiers are involved in the killing and kidnapping of displaced people in West Tigray’s Tselemet district who have returned to their homes,” TPLF has accused.

The Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF), which has been banned from any political activity by the Election Board, criticized the weekly statement issued by the party, saying, "The Ethiopian government, which promised to provide protection to the residents of Zelemt, failed to protect them and forced them to return." It said, "It has become a participant in the fight against other militants, even though it was supposed to protect them."

"The recent killings by Ethiopian government soldiers in Mayebiri last week are a recent example, "it’s said in a statement.
