The Tigray Liberation Party (TLP) has accused the TPLF leadership and the federal government of failing to fully implement the Pretoria Peace Agreement and protect the interests of the citizens. The party also warned that it fears renewed conflict in the Tigray region.

In a statement, the party stated that many areas of Tigray are still not under the control of the interim administration of the region and that many displaced people have not found a sustainable resettlement solution.

The party also stated that internal divisions within the TPLF and its military leadership have weakened institutions, destroyed the unity of the armed forces, and contributed to the region's diplomatic isolation.

The party opposed attempts to incite the people to renewed war, stating that another round of war would not help to protect Tigray's constitutional borders or the peaceful return of displaced people.

Instead, he warned that the start of a new war would widen divisions, increase displacement, and exacerbate the suffering of civilians, especially young people.
