FDRE President Taye Atsekeslassie has appointed Legesse Tulu (PhD), previously the Minister of Government Communication Services, as Ambassador with Plenipotentiary Powers.

The announcement, issued directly from the Office of the President, signals a new chapter in Dr Legesse’s career and a strategic deployment of experienced personnel within the Ethiopian government.

While the specific nation to which Ambassador Legesse Tulu (PhD) will be assigned remains unconfirmed, sources suggest the destination is a nation crucial to Ethiopia's economic development and geopolitical influence.

Dr. Legesse's tenure as Minister of Government Communication Services was marked by an emphasis on transparency and modernization of public communication strategies.

However, the Minister, in his role as Communications Director, was seen announcing the five-day Pagume month program to the government media.
