The South African government is warning young women not to be fooled by Russian jobs that are widely circulated on social media.

The government issued this warning after several job advertisements were widely circulated by South African social media influencers.

A large number of young South Africans are unemployed, and many are desperately looking for work.

The International Criminal Police Organization (ICPO) released an investigative report last May regarding "starter" job advertisements.

The report said recruiters are providing false information to recruits about the nature of the job, conditions, and educational opportunities; their main goal is to support the "drone program."
