Somaliland President Holds Talks with Israeli Counterpart and Trump's Son

The President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamud, discussed with officials from the United States and Israel during the World Economic Forum held in Switzerland.

The presidents present at Davos focused on various discussions, emphasizing the need to strengthen global partnerships and the importance of international cooperation.

President Abdirahman engaged in dialogue with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and key figures from the Trump administration, including Eric Trump, as well as other prominent leaders and business individuals.

According to the authorities of Somaliland, the President's discussion highlighted the importance of economic collaboration, investment opportunities, and the region's strategic role in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

Additionally, the President of Somaliland emphasized the significance of the port of Berbera for their country, advocating for its potential to attract investment by declaring it open for business.

Dr. Abdirahman Du'ale, a prominent spokesperson for the President, stated in an interview with BBC Somali that during a conversation with Eric Trump, they discussed the investment opportunities in Somaliland and expressed Eric's interest in these prospects.
