Somaliland Nominates President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize

Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Ero) has officially nominated US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

They nominated Trump for the award in recognition of his efforts to resolve some of the world's most pressing conflicts.

Speaking in Burao, the second capital of Somaliland, President Iroh expressed his gratitude for America's efforts to resolve various conflicts, including the war between Russia and Ukraine and the tension between Israel and Iran, and said he would vote for President Donald Trump to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (IRO) said in his speech, "I would like to express my gratitude to the President of the United States for his decision to recognize the Republic of Somaliland."

"Today, as the President of Somaliland, I publicly announce that I stand with world leaders in supporting President Trump to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of his efforts to resolve conflicts and bring peace throughout the world," he said.

President Iroh's remarks come amid expectations that the Trump administration will bring about a change in US foreign policy in the region, especially in Somaliland, as Somaliland seeks international recognition after three decades, according to Horn Diplomat.
