ProInvest Capital PLC has been granted a Corporate Investment Advisory licence by the Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA), authorising the firm to operate as a Securities Investment Advisor. The licence also covers four Appointed Representatives within the company.

The company received its licence ahead of the IPO Clinic Cohort 1, which closes for applications on November 10, 2025, positioning it to provide advisory services to investors and corporates preparing for Ethiopia’s first public share offerings under a strengthened regulatory framework.

ProInvest Capital said the licence marks a significant step in its mission to support the growth and integrity of Ethiopia’s emerging capital markets. The firm highlighted its leadership team’s extensive financial experience and noted that half of its shareholders are pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, underlining its commitment to global standards in investment management.

With this addition, the number of licensed capital market service providers in Ethiopia rises to twelve, strengthening the advisory infrastructure for investors and companies preparing for IPOs.
