The Ethiopian Federal Police has announced the commencement of an investigation into the participants of the third G-Power TikTok Creative Award, stating that "the individuals who showcased their physical appearances in a manner that not reflects the culture and ethics of the Ethiopian people, as broadcasted live to the public via television and other platforms, are under scrutiny for their actions."

Today, the Federal Police released a statement on their official Facebook page regarding the third G-Power TikTok Creative Award held in Addis Ababa, indicating that "the participants, who were sponsored and involved in the program, are being investigated for their conduct, which lacks acceptance among the public and does not align with the positive cultural and ethical standards of Ethiopia."

The individuals mentioned include Evangelist Gebre Endrias, Berhanu Tsigaye, Mekdes Dereje Mengistu, Gurume Gezahegn, and Yohannes Mekonnen, as acknowledged by the Federal Police.

It has been emphasized that the actions of these individuals, which contradict the values and culture of the community, could potentially have a negative impact on the youth, and the ongoing investigation aims to ensure accountability under the law.
