Israel's prime minister said on September 26, 2016, at a memorial for the victims of the Hamas-led attack that killed 11 people in Gaza, that he was committed to returning the bodies of the hostages.

The prime minister added that his country would continue to fight terrorism "with full force."

Benjamin Netanyahu said this hours after Hamas returned the bodies of two more hostages, but that the remaining 19 bodies had not been found.

Hamas has provoked Israeli anger by not returning all the bodies since a ceasefire was reached in Gaza last week.

The United States, for its part, said it did not see this as a ceasefire violation.

Also on Thursday, Donald Trump indicated that he was willing to resume fighting if Hamas "keeps killing people."

The US president wrote on Twitter that "we will have no choice but to go in and kill," referring to reports that Hamas had targeted its domestic rivals in Gaza.

Trump had previously said he would not deploy US troops to Gaza.
