Utah Governor Spencer Cox announced that the suspected killer of political activist Charlie Kirk is not cooperating with police and has not yet been charged with the murder.
Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old man, was arrested 33 hours after the shooting death of far-right activist Charlie Kirk.
The governor of Utah told ABC News that the suspect's family is cooperating with local authorities in the investigation.
Spencer Cox, who appeared in several media outlets on Sunday, said he was concerned about the messages circulating on social media following the killing of the 31-year-old activist.
The governor was asked about a New York Times report that the suspect had been chatting with people on a messaging platform after the killing and joking about carrying out the attack.
