Kenya and Rwanda have separately condemned Israel's recent attack on the Qatari capital, Doha.
"The attack not only violates the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Qatar, but also poses a serious threat to the Middle East region and international peace and security," the Kenyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Similarly, Rwanda, for its part, said in a statement issued yesterday that "Israel's unjustified violation of fundamental territorial sovereignty is dangerous," adding that "it is leading the world towards chaos."
These statements from Kigali and Nairobi came after other African countries such as Nigeria, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, and Somalia similarly condemned Israel's attack on Qatar.
For example, Nigeria has emphasized that "respect for the sovereignty of States and international law, especially in matters concerning the use of force across borders, is a priority."
Somalia, for its part, has called on the United Nations Security Council to take immediate action to stop Israel's ongoing attacks and ensure the protection of civilians, TRT Global reported.
It should be noted that Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes targeting senior Hamas leaders in the Qatari capital Doha on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
