Israeli forces shot and killed two Palestinian men in the occupied West Bank on Thursday, Palestinian sources say the men had surrendered before being killed, prompting accusations that they were executed “in cold blood.”

The Israeli military said it is investigating the incident. Videos of the killings, broadcast by two Arab television stations, come amid an intensified Israeli security campaign in the West Bank, where operations have escalated over the past two years.

Israel maintains that its operations target militants, but Palestinians and human rights groups have accused the army of using excessive force, with unarmed civilians among those killed in recent clashes.

The West Bank clashes come as Israel continues to engage in multiple regional conflicts. On Thursday, Israeli airstrikes targeted suspected Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon, following a tenuous ceasefire in Gaza.

Analysts warn that the continuing violence risks spilling beyond the immediate conflict zones, potentially undermining fragile stability across the region.
