Protests across multiple Iranian cities on Thursday evening led to widespread disruption of internet services, according to digital rights monitor NetBlocks.

Authorities also suspended flights from Istanbul, Turkey, to Tehran, with travelers informed that incoming flights would not be permitted to land. Air travel to the cities of Tabriz and Isfahan has been similarly affected.

The twelfth day of demonstrations coincided with a sharp reduction in internet speed, reflecting ongoing restrictions amid the country’s escalating humanitarian crisis.

In several cities, protesters posted images showing police vehicles and government buildings engulfed in flames, highlighting the scale of unrest.
