Iran's judiciary news agency reported that Bahman Choubi-Asl was sentenced to death on Monday.

Iran, embroiled in a decades-long war of attrition with Israel, has executed several individuals it says have ties to Israel's Mossad intelligence service and facilitated its activities in the country.

Mossaf's primary goal in obtaining the defendant's cooperation was to access government institutions' databases and create a breach in Iranian data centers, while also achieving other secondary goals, including investigating the ways in which electronic devices were imported into the country, according to reportes.

The Iran-Israel conflict began in June when Israel struck various targets in Iran, with Mossad moving into direct combat by conducting operations deep inside the country.
