Hillary Clinton has accused the Donald Trump administration of withholding documents from sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The former US secretary of state told the BBC in Berlin: "Release the documents. Republicans are delaying it."

White House officials argue that releasing the documents to the public is more than enough for the victims, Democrats say.

The Attorney General released millions of Jeffrey Epstein documents weeks ago, after the US Congress passed a law requiring the release of documents related to the Epstein criminal investigation.

Prosecutors have announced that they have released all of the Epstein documents required by law, but lawmakers say that is not enough.

Lawmakers are demanding that prosecutors release internal memos detailing decisions made in the case against Epstein and his associates.

Hillary Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, are expected to testify before Congress.

This will be the first time a former president has testified before Congress since Gerald Ford in 1983.
