Sudan's Rapid support Force commander, General Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemeti), has warned that his forces will attack warplanes and drones from neighboring countries.

He also said that they will attack airports in regional countries that support the Sudanese army.

The Sudan Tribune reported that they are targeting warplanes and drones that take off from neighboring countries to attack their troops.

"We are threatened by any aircraft that takes off from any neighboring country to deliver supplies, carry out attacks or kill," he said.

Hemeti warned that airports in regional countries could become battlefields if they become a source of attack in Sudan.

While their warning is believed to be specifically aimed at Egypt, previous reports have indicated that the Sudanese government has moved its warplanes from Port Sudan to the Eritrean capital, Asmara, to protect itself from attacks by the rapid-fire force.

Egypt has been reported to have participated in the war by training the Sudanese army and providing drones.
