The recent presidential election results in Guinea-Bissau have not yet been disclosed.

According to the country's electoral commission, the ballots were not counted due to the obstruction caused by the voters who entered the polling stations, which prevented the counting of the votes and the recording of the results from the election held on December 23.

The results from the polling stations have been reported to be compromised, as stated. As the institution clarified, the delay in announcing the official election results was due to a scheduling conflict.

The current president, Umaro Sissoco Embalo, and the opposition candidate, Fernando Dias da Costa, both claimed victory. On that day, the military was reported to have intervened, and the ambassador indicated that this was an attempt to undermine the government.

The generals from the previous military forces have reportedly supported General Horata Inta-An in the leadership of the country.

The authority has been exercised in a manner that is publicly acknowledged.

On another note, the ambassador has moved from Senegal to the Republic of Congo, where he has taken up his post in the media.

Foreign diplomats and Guinea-Bissau's opposition members, along with the military personnel, have expressed that this attempt to undermine the government is a strategy to influence the presidential election results, as reported by Africa News.
