The Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Party, Enat party, All Ethiopian Unity Organization, the Amhara Regional Movement, and the One Ethiopia Democratic Party announced the formation of a "coordination to work together."

EPRF Chairman Megabe Bului Abraham Teklehaimanot told “Addis Standard” that the parties have come to an agreement on issues that unite them after having been in talks for the past four years.

The coalition, which will focus on strong national issues, will emerge as a strong and competitive party in the upcoming national elections, the member said, adding, "By looking at the possible prerequisites, it will be able to emerge as a strong and competitive party."

For his part, Ato Getnet Worku, a member of the Enat Party, confirmed that the parties have agreed to work together in a coalition after holding joint discussions and working on projects.

He pointed out that parties other than the five parties that accept Ethiopia as a country and have no historical disputes can join the coalition.
