Ethiopia’s electoral authority has released results from 24 constituencies as nationwide vote counting continues across special polling stations set up for displaced communities and military camps.

The National Election Board of Ethiopia said the latest results come from constituencies where vote verification and approval have been completed, while cases involving formal complaints remain under review and are excluded from the current release.

The commission said the broader tallying process has progressed significantly, with results from almost all constituencies now posted across the country, leaving only two polling stations still outstanding.

Those remaining include one constituency in Halaba and another in Kebriya, where further aggregation and verification are required before final results can be finalised.

Officials said counting in Halaba is being conducted with the participation of all political parties, while the Kebriye constituency is awaiting consolidation of results from multiple district-level returns.

Voting at special polling stations, including those in displacement sites and military camps, has largely been completed, although one military camp was still pending at the time of the update.

NEBE Chairperson Melatwork Hailu said the process has proceeded with limited disruptions, noting that most challenges encountered were procedural and administrative in nature.
