The case of an Ethiopian man accused of sexually assaulting underage women within days of his arrival in the United Kingdom in early July has sparked outrage and protests among citizens in the country.
A man named Hadush Gebreselassie Kabatu is facing a sexual assault charge that he allegedly committed over two days near the refugee accommodation hotel he was staying at in the town of Essex.
But this incident has caused concern among residents, who have been holding protests for the past two months demanding the closure of the hotel where the asylum seekers are staying and the departure of the refugees from the city.
Similar concerns have arisen in other areas.
Hadush, who appeared in court again on Tuesday, denied the charges, but was charged with "wanting to have children with" and attempting to kiss two 14-year-old girls in the city center.
