Ethiopian Airlines said it is currently flying in Eritrean airspace, but the money it has not paid has not been returned.
In a statement, the airline stated that the past fiscal year was unique compared to other years.
It is worth noting that when the Eritrean Civil Aviation Authority banned Ethiopian Airlines from flying to Asmara, it demanded that the airline pay $3.7 million, which it said it had not paid before the Ethio-Eritrean war.
"Although efforts were made in court to recover the money, they did not allow us to respond, perhaps due to new political tensions," he said.
