The Prime Minister announced this during the official inauguration of the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam project in the presence of regional leaders and senior government officials.

Speaking at the official inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Abiy said, "Ethiopia will soon start the construction of a nuclear power plant that will be used for peaceful purposes from the Renaissance Dam."

The Prime Minister also said that the construction of the largest Ethiopian Airlines in Africa will start soon and the first gas plant will be inaugurated in a few weeks. On the same day, the construction of the second gas plant, which is 10 times bigger than the first, will be started.

He also mentioned that the gas refinery, which will realize Ethiopia's long-term desire to extract oil, will be realized and indicated that the construction of the recently signed fertilizer factory will also be realized in the next few days.

Prime Minister Abiy said that at least 1.5 million houses will be built in the next 5 to 6 years.
