Commercial Nominees has inaugurated a new training centre aimed at raising professional standards in Ethiopia’s outsourcing industry, as demand grows for skilled labour in facility management, cleaning and support services.

The company said the centre was designed to serve as a “centre of excellence” for the outsourcing sector, combining technical instruction with practical and leadership-oriented training intended to align local services with international standards.

Located on a 1,400 square metre site, the facility includes three modern buildings comprising G+4, G+2 and G+1 structures with a combined floor area of 580 square metres. The complex houses training halls, conference facilities, cafeterias, laundry service areas and showrooms equipped with cleaning machinery and maintenance tools.

The centre is also equipped with wireless internet, backup power generators, sound systems, projectors, parking facilities and security infrastructure.

Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, Yonas Lidetu, chairperson of Commercial Nominees’ board and vice-president for international banking at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, said the facility was intended to go beyond conventional vocational training.

“This is envisioned as a centre where professional ethics, service excellence and continuous experience-sharing are cultivated for the outsourcing industry,” he said.
