An Australian family with millions of fans online has fled their country's social media ban to the United Kingdom (UK).

The family decided to relocate to the UK because of a social media ban on under-16s that will come into effect in December.

The family, dubbed the "Empire Family," consists of four members, made up of mothers Beck and Beck Lee, 17-year-old son Presley, and 14-year-old daughter Charlotte.

The family members share their daily routines on social media.

They shared a post on social media, saying that the family uses the internet for good purposes and that their decision to live in the UK would allow their daughter to create content.

Under Australia's ban, which is said to be the first in the world, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, X and YouTube are required to prevent minors under the age of 16 from opening accounts and to take "reasonable steps" to delete those that have already been opened.
