Anthropic Valuation Surges to 965 bln US dollars After 65 bln Funding Round

Anthropic has reached a post-money valuation of 965 billion US dollars after securing 65 billion US dollars in a Series H funding round, placing the artificial intelligence company ahead of rival OpenAI.

The latest valuation reflects a rapid escalation from February, when Anthropic was valued at 380 billion US dollars.

The capital raised will be directed toward expanding compute capacity and scaling products linked to Claude. The funding structure also includes 15 billion US dollars in previously committed hyperscaler investments.

Anthropic has faced operational pressure in recent months as demand for Claude increased, prompting usage limits during peak hours.

The company said annualised revenue exceeded 47 billion US dollars earlier this month, driven by accelerating enterprise adoption.

The fundraising effort is taking place alongside preparations for a potential public listing.
