Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed "expressed his concern and reaffirmed his partnership with Qatar" following the Israeli attack on the Qatari capital, Doha.

Prime Minister Abiy expressed his solidarity with Qatar during a phone conversation with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The prime minister expressed "deep concern" over Israel's attack on Qatar, calling it a "blatant violation of all international laws and regulations" and a "grave threat to the security of the Qatari government and the countries of the region," Qatari media reported.

They also expressed their condolences to those who lost their lives in the attack and praised Qatar's efforts to resolve the conflict and promote international peace.

Qatari leader Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani said Qatar would "take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity" in response to the attack.

They also praised Ethiopia's stance, thanking Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed for his "heartfelt feelings" and his solidarity with the people of Qatar.

This follows recent statements by Kenya and Rwanda, which also condemned Israel's recent attack on the Qatari capital, Doha, in separate statements.
